Great response to sustainable products

It has been an exceptionally busy time since getting back from the Painting and Decorating show earlier this month.

eco ezee logoI was there with Eco Ezee demonstrating their range of sustainable brushes, roller sleeves, recycled cardboard paint trays and kettles to fellow trade professionals, training colleges and their students.  I met Natalie, MD at Eco Ezee last year at the show and now use their brushes, paint trays and kettles on every job and not only do they save me time at the end of a day because they don’t need any washing out but my clients really like them and they form part of the sustainability policy for Juniper-ash.

Other show hi-lights for me included Toupret who were showcasing their new product Humi-block, a newly developed filler coating that stops dampness and prevents humidity.  Humi-block is meant for interior or exterior application and adheres exceptionally on dry, damp or wet substrates.

I already use the Toupret filler range so this looks set to join my property maintenance tool kit.

Lincrusta Lincrusta indulged my passion for all things wallpaper.  Although Lincrusta could be considered the extreme sport of wallpaper Andy Sarson, Technical Director and industry Guru made gave some wonderful and inspiring demonstrations showcasing the decorative finishes that can be achieved.   Andy also gave me some Lincrusta samples and I have been experimenting with decorative finishes since I got back from the show.  I am really looking forward to attending their training in February next year.

December is set to be a busy decorating month with lots of interesting decorating projects. Ranging from hanging beautiful wallpaper from the Paint and paper library collection to repainting a village hall in time for the New Year party!
